Call for Presenters Now Open: 2026 WPEFC Conference
The Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation of Canada is excited to invite submissions from our community to present at the 2026 WPEFC Conference and Gathering in Radium Hot Springs.
We are seeking presentations, speed talks, and posters that share research, restoration efforts, management approaches, policy developments, and community experiences related to whitebark and limber pine ecosystems.

Presentation Opportunities
Individual Presentations
15–20 minute presentations with combined time for questions and discussion.
Speed Talks
5 minutes or less — short, engaging summaries of research, projects, practices, or experiences in whitebark and limber pine management. Presenters may also choose to pair their speed talk with a poster.
Posters
Posters will be displayed throughout the conference venue and featured during dedicated networking and viewing sessions.
Suggested Themes
Topics may include:
- Conservation and recovery
- Restoration
- Climate change
- Genetics
- Nurseries and propagation
- Wildlife
- General ecology
- Recreation management
- Industry role in conservation
- Policy and legislation
- General threats
- And more
Presenters are welcome to submit multiple proposals; please complete a separate submission for each topic.
