About the Conference

Join us for the 2026 Whitebark & Limber Pine Science and Management Conference in British Columbia, a gathering that will bring together a diverse community working to conserve and restore these keystone species. Together, we’ll highlight field-based restoration work, share new research and monitoring findings, and explore practical management strategies and collaborative approaches to conservation across landscapes. Participants will include researchers and scientists, restoration practitioners, government and industry partners, Indigenous knowledge holders, students, volunteers, and community members.

Day 1 – October 14

Presentations, workshops, and panel discussions on the latest research, management strategies, and collaborative restoration efforts.

Day 2 – October 15

Field-based learning and hands-on exploration of whitebark and limber pine science and restoration projects.

  • Driving will be required to access field locations
  • Carpooling support will be provided
  • Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate field gear and dress for mountain weather

Conference Cancellation Policy
  • More than 7 weeks prior to the event: Full refund minus administrative fee of $50.
  • 4–7 weeks prior: 50% refund
  • Less than 4 weeks prior: No refund
  • Name transfers are permitted up to 72 hours before the event.

Written Requests Required:
All cancellation and refund requests must be submitted in writing. The date the request is received will determine the applicable refund eligibility.

Event Changes:
We reserve the right to modify event details (including schedule, speakers, or venue) as needed. Such changes do not qualify for refunds.

Event Cancellation: 
We reserve the right to cancel an event due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, a full refund will be issued.
