Wish You Worked Here?
It’s that time again, whether it seems like spring, summer, or winter where you are, we’re gearing up for the upcoming season. If you want to work in the field with fascinating and endangered trees in picturesque, montane habitats, this opportunity may be for you. The Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation of Canada (WPEFC) is hiring both a crew lead and field assistant to re-measure and assess the health of about 100 whitebark and limber pine long-term monitoring plots from Kakwa to Waterton in Alberta. While this year will focus on long-term research plots, there is potential for other related work, as well as the opportunity to network with regional biology professionals.
