🌄 Get Ready! 2026 Conference & Gathering
We are excited to announce that planning is underway for the 2026 Whitebark & Limber Pine Conference and Gathering, taking place in British Columbia!
This conference will bring together:
- Researchers & scientists
- Restoration practitioners
- Government and industry partners
- Indigenous knowledge holders
- Students, volunteers, and community members
Together, we will explore field-based restoration, new research findings, management strategies, and shared approaches to conserve these keystone species.

📍 Location: Radium Hot Springs, BC – Radium Hot Springs Centre

Day 1 – October 14
Presentations, workshops, and panel discussions on the latest research, management strategies, and collaborative restoration efforts.
The Call for Presentations and Proposals will be opening soon for those interested in sharing research, projects, or collaborative initiatives.
Day 2 – October 15
Field-based learning and hands-on exploration of whitebark and limber pine science and restoration projects.
- Driving will be required to access field locations
- Carpooling support will be provided
- Participants are encouraged to wear appropriate field gear and dress for mountain weather
